Foundation’s “Robust Democracy” Video Wins Silver Telly Award
Foundation for Democracy and Justice is thrilled to announce that our first educational video, “Robust Democracy” won a Silver Telly Award, the top honor at the Tellys.
The video, released late last year, was one of over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents and is among the top 7-10% of Silver Telly winners!
“Robust Democracy” examines the importance of civic education and engagement in California. The video features Chief Justice of California Tani Cantil-Sakauye, Former Mayor and Speaker of the Assembly Willie Brown, California Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Allan Zaremberg, and Brawley Union High School Teacher Jose Flores. Each speaker offers a unique perspective about the important role Californians can play in shaping and improving their community through civic participation.
The video was produced by McNally Temple Associates with support from the California Chamber of Commerce.
Foundation for Democracy and Justice is a civic education and engagement nonprofit, providing resources and forums to promote and strengthen public understanding of California’s three branches with an emphasis on the judiciary.
